Excerpts from Jenny McCarthy's book, Louder Than Words
Jenny McCarthy, author of Louder Than Words. A Mother’s Journey in Healing Autism has been interviewed on Oprah (9-18-2007) and Larry King Live (09-26-2007) about her new book and her son’s recovery from autism. Her pediatrician, Dr. Jerry Kartzinel joined her on Larry King Live, saying, “Fungus is a huge problem for these children” and “Antifungals are helping these kids tremendously.” Jenny ordered through our website and followed our detailed instructions which we send out to all new customers, as well as providing online support and guidance. Both are important for success with the ThreeLac program.
In her book, Jenny McCarthy writes:

“Dr. Kartzinel told me that Evan’s stool had a lot of yeast in it and that I should have started him on antifungal medication a long time ago. He felt that many of Evan’s OCD behaviors were side effects of severe candida overgrowth, which wasn’t uncommon in an autistic child. He explained that when a person takes antibiotics regularly, the intestines get stripped down, and then the yeast or candida overgrowth occurs, causing OCD-like and erratic behavior. He started Evan on Diflucan, an antifungal medication.”

“Dr. Kartzinel had told me there are children who dramatically improve with something as simple as an antifungal, once the overgrowth of yeast is removed from their body.”

“To remove Evan’s candida, we did start him out on a prescription of Diflucan but after a few weeks, I switched him to a natural supplement that did the same thing. It is called ThreeLac. This is the stuff that really made Evan excrete yeast and start talking more. It takes months to get the job done, so be patient...“

“Evan was still excreting yeast out of every part of his body, and every time he did, he would break through more”
I stood in that moment and relished the confirmation of Evan’s healing. It was happening before everyone’s eyes. It had been about a month and a half, and Evan was still going through major yeast die-offs. According to (Google), this would continue until his body was a bit more balanced.”

“After another couple of weeks had gone by, Evan’s therapist couldn’t believe the sudden burst of development. Evan was flying through his programs so well that they couldn’t keep up with him. Every day was a miraculous introduction to this wonderful kid who was waking up from a long sleep. I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next.

“A woman from the State had come over for a reevaluation on Evans to see how he was improving and whether he needed more hours of therapy. I was so excited for Evan to be evaluated after breaking through. I hadn’t told her a thing, I just wanted to see what she thought. I watched her face the entire time she asked Evan to do things. He was not only completing tasks, he was having full conversations with them. (Page 186) The woman from the state department slowly looked up at me and said, “What’s going on?” I smiled and told her to keep testing him. She did all the tests, and Evan not only mastered them but kept initiating conversation and play with her. After the evaluation was done, she said to me, “This isn’t autism anymore. I don’t understand what happened. We have never seen a recovery like this. What happened?” I replied, “I found the reason for autism, which led me to the solutions, and because of that, he was able to absorb the lessons the therapists were giving him. Now, in no way was Evan perfect in the eyes of parents who had typical children. He would still repeat words a few times and flap his arms, but he was no longer stuck in the world of autism. His bloated belly was gone, and his allergies had become less severe. I honestly believe that if Evan hadn’t felt as good as he did, he wouldn’t have been able to fully absorb all the intense ABA and speech therapies he was getting. The healthier he became, the more the therapists were able to teach him.”

“I continue to keep Evan on a wheat-free, dairy-free, yeast-free diet and always will. I also keep him on ThreeLac, a probiotic that keeps yeast in balance in the gut, and I’ll always keep him on vitamins and minerals.”
